Mission San Jose.jpgby RedDotComComment by Ecce_Signum: I'm happy with the blown out windows and think it adds to the overall feel of the image. Melethia has it right, I oft sharpen the image to my liking then give it another 'tweak' for display on the web ;) |

Mission San Jose.jpgby RedDotComComment by tnun: I really like the way your lens handles this space, giving the arches and clerestory generous and free play. Great sense of light and space. |

Mission San Jose.jpgby RedDotComComment by hajeka: 288 years is quite young if I look at the old churches we have here. Still, it's a very nice shot, as if I'm just sitting here.
As said in other comments, the windows are a little blown out (hard to avoid, I think). Perhaps you should use that effect and just darken the church a little. |

Daisy-0031by RedDotComComment by hajeka: I'm a bit late with commenting this (and it's too late for me to read all the comments). First impression: wonderful image, sharp and nice contrasts, perhaps a little too centered. Thinks some of the white is a little "too white". Probably the light. Can't give you any solution, since I'm still having problems with that myself. |

Mission San Jose.jpgby RedDotComComment by Melethia: I know this place! Your lens makes it seem bigger than it really is inside. It almost appears as though the light on the cross is reflecting along the top of the pews. Good shot. And yes, they do seem a little soft on DPC - I find that I have to sharpen a bit more than I'm comfortable with for posting here. |

Mission San Jose.jpgby RedDotComComment by salmiakki: I love the perspective and composition of this shot. It looks like a wonderful place. One very small thing, I wonder if by boosting the highlights ever so slightly the light that is falling on the pews on the left side, would stand out a bit more. Just thinking out loud really, not trying to suggest it's not good as it is! |
