I cannot find a link between the carriage and the building other than one is old and one is new. And in a challenge like this, when people are going thru item after item of periodic elements, one has to stop and think about what is being conveyed beyond the carriage here. And then since the building is a puzzle, it becomes an outlier in this challenge. To the voting brain, it suddenly doesn't fit. And then you get the first reactions like I had. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

The processing is interesting. What did you use?

Anyway, I think you have a very interesting scene here, because who would expect this antique to be sitting around an industrial area? What a shame it has not been taken care of more properly.

Well, I now recognize that others wouldn't get that deep a meaning from it. It was lost so to speak to the challenge elements required.

Good point about the cars being in the background but, what I was really aiming for was THE ELEMENTS. That being said, I was aiming for the difference of the IRON & WOOD, VS THE CEMENT AND GLASS AND ALUMINUM.

I went way too deep, I guess and I have to learn...stock shot, stock shot....nothing with any deep meaning in here! :)

Well too bad for the low score. I don't think it's a 4 photo. Did you use sunlight then? The only drawback is that the light really bounced off the tomatoes while the beautiful greens did not. Looks like a very yummy salad.

The highlights seem a bit blown out and the tomatoes are lacking a bit of focus.

I feel like a dense ignoramus after beating up your last couple of entries in voting! I only get what you were showing once it is explained. Oh, well, at least I left a comment explaining, right?

Very simple image, but VERY effective. I really like the colors, positioning, and effective use of DOF. My only complaint is the glare in the background fold to the left. I might have been tempted to crop the left a little to remove some of that. Whatever you did around the heart is great as well.

I love the light framing on the heart. The light horizon in the back provides a feeling of depth. Nice.
