Child of The Lightby J-MeComment by DougTanner: I don't know if it was done deliberately, but there is a lot of noise in this image, particularly on the tips of the wings. A nice improvement over the original though! |

Former Kodak Company Site Abandoned Due To Digital Progressby J-MeComment by david_c: I think the "dull & flat" comment might have been a bit misinterpreted...what I see in this shot (besides one of my favourite subject matters) is a little over-saturation and under-contrast. Perhaps try to bring the sat down -20 or so, and then play with a "curves" layer to bring out some of the depth.... |

Child of The Lightby J-MeComment by Ja-9: I like the close crop of this better, but I don't like the graininess in the picture a good noise reducer would work wonders on this...JMO |

Nineby J-MeComment by colorcarnival: ok i will tell you that I gave this a 4. i felt it should have been in focus. I think I can see what is going on. Did you take this as a hand-held shot? If you are going to use a speed of 1/25 you are going to need to rest this on something or use a tripod. A slight shake will really show up in a macro. I've found that hand held shots start to look ok at 1/50. Do you see the blur in your subject? |
