Botanics: Study of Plantlifeby shoggyComment by lynnmarie: I like the way that you cropped this. I think that it would be more effective to reduce your aperture so that all of the leaves were in focus, and then increase the contrast a tad to play up the venation pattern. |

silky smoothby shoggyComment by Pug-H: Unusual choice of colour, I must say. I mean, it doesn't look like the natural colour of the flower. Perhaps too much of the out-of-focus petals in the foreground, but an interesting study of light and shade.
