Why, Oh Why...by rickhd13Comment by e301: As a de-saturated photo this is OK - but the absolutely head-on lighting doesn't help you for me: I'd like to see some shape to the pill, it could almost be a cardboard cut-out here. The contrast of texture could also be brought out more - which would make an interesting parallel with a real and constructed world. |

Mowby rickhd13Comment by ursula: You have one of the complementary pairs (red/green) in the photo, but I wish you would tell more of a story with it, to grab the viewer's interest. As it is, the photo probably means a lot more to you than to other viewers. |

Still Lifeby rickhd13Comment by Olyuzi: Wonderful and simple photo. The colors are great. The only thing I can see improving is the light reflections in the apple and pepper. Maybe a more diffuse, and less harsh light would have been better. |

Mowby rickhd13Comment by eloise: The red looks slightly washed out/glaring in the light. Maybe a slightly different angle, postprocessing, or even something as simple as wetting it before shooting it might have helped give a clearer color? I didn't grade down for it, I just thought I'd make a suggestion for future use. :-> |
