Well I hope you did nt get any comments that say you dont meet the challenge. I really like shots where you have to be in the right place at the right time, and you certainly were. ( well unless you set the fire -kidding). I find the falling timber in all directions most interesting to look at. I also like the contrast of you having left the healthy branch in. nice work. p.s. hope you didn;t suffer smoke inhalation.

I think making this a bit darker and increasing the contrast ever so slightly would give this more impact, but I like it a lot the way it is. 8
