First impression for this photo is that it is too grainy and over sharpened however at second glance I like it. It reminds me of the movie "The Birds". Maybe the title Homage to Hitchcock would fit this photo better?

Whoa! I hope that you did not get hit by any falling matter. This image is way overexposed. In a situation like this, you should meter the sky first and then set you camera for those high light exposures. I do not know what camera you have or the cercumstances of this shot so I can only be broad in my suggestion.

An interesting effect, but the composition of the pigeons looks random and chaotic. I like the use of contrast and grain. 6

This is so interesting. It looks almost like a painting. I love how the flock of birds is spackled across the sky in such a random flurry and what I suppose is actually an overexposure causing the clouds to seem so stark (I'm not a photographer so I don't know techniques, all I really know is the affect and I like it here). I wish your title was as creative as the shot. ;-)

sharpened up a bit much for my taste, but I like the way you captured all the birds in action

Good composition and use of color. Some sharpening would bring out the details in the wings.

Butterfly had two "t"'s....

Somehow this photo lacks a little saturation, otherwise good composition.

Good idea for the challenge, but I think moving the subject to one of the thirds of the frame would have made a better photo. The foreground also seems a little "hot".

In my opinion, insect shots where the subject takes up a significant portion of the frame, and the subject is centred tend not to work. This is because a viewer will want to focus on the eyes first, but the photographer has made an arbitrary centre of the insect's body the focus. The butterfly is also too centred vertically, I think it would have been much stronger if you had cropped a significant portion of the top off. Very nice butterfly macro other than that, shame that your background is a little distracting just above the butterfly. Great light, good detail. Shame about the glare on the foreground flowers. 7
