Very creative approach with the skull - however the subject of the cigarette box does not scream "cardboard" to me, especially with the red. I would not say this does not meet the challenge (because I'm pretty sure that cigarette boxes *are* cardboard), however I feel that you probably are not appealing to the challenge as much as you might. For people who aren't spending a lot of time thinking about the entries, they might say that this doesn't meet the challenge. I do again want to say that I like the creative approach, and I think that this is a meaningful and emotional image.

Nice score and placing on this! Really nice way to frame this shot with the tree in the lower corner - gives it depth. And excellent job within the basic ruleset, too.
