Willard Knobby dsidwellComment by dsidwell: Thanks for the comments, all who did so! This was a fun challenge, and I applaud the winners; I thought Steve's (stdavidson) photo of the saguaro landscape was magnificent--certainly one of my favorites of the challenge. I'm not surprised it won and I'm really happy that it did.
As for processing, the processing I did is almost invisible. Just a greater clarity of texture on the rocks, and some energy spent in getting details and many shades of gray.
Thanks again! |

Railroad Rememberedby dsidwellComment by Donald: Perspective dominates and captured my heart. Between the long shadow lines, bright white rock forground and all beneath the vast cloud cover...love the framing. Love the photo. Great gosh 8 and thanks. |

Railroad Rememberedby dsidwellComment by Kavey: Quite haunting. I wonder if it would have been better as a duotoned black and white or just with a touch of the saturation taken out of the sky? |
