I'm caught between the sharp, graphic nature of the shot, and the items that make this shot not work for me.

The colors, framing within the picture and sharp focus work well for you. The match of bg color with many post it notes works well.

The details, including the mismatch of color between shirt and bg, the unshaved neck, strange lighting (funny shadows), pink border and the tape around the head leave me cold.

It's obvious you have talent, but this shot didn't work for me very well.

I am guessing the solo and the "My" in the title is the person on the boat, or is it you? It's too washed out and the boat is crowding the left edge too much.
