Awwwww. . .what a cute portrait! He is precious! I think maybe compositionally, cropping out the left post may have enhanced the composition a little -- but I really love this anyway. Nice lighting and colors. Good eye connection :)

comments: I'm trying to figure out if I'm being to picky on how shallow a DOF should be cause this is about the 3rd out of 7 I've voted on that don't really seem to be fitting the bill. While looking at past challenges I feel that shallow should be where only a very small portion is in focus (1-2"). I have to say that I wish you were closer to the flowers so that we could tell how shallow the field is. Still a wonderful image with great colors and layout and even a border that works well with it...good luck.
