This is quite an unusual scene, and you make the most of it in this shot. I also like the sense of action and the flash of colors in this shot. Composition is spot on with the static branch and the dark BG to contrast the whirl of color.

How wonderful. The tack sharp branch, really sets off the blur of the action. The colors are like a flame -- blue down in the center and yellow above. The light is so good too, with that dark background for contrast.

The blur is great and I really like that the sharpness of the beak and claws is still there. Makes it very clear it's an unfriendly whirlwind encounter. Really, really fun shot.

im not exactly sure why, but i had this marked as a 5... hmm ill have to change that momentarily. i really like the facbric around your models head. the only thing that bothers me about this photo is the curly whisker, but thats just me being anal:)-7
