Maybe the composition could have been re-arranged so that the flower was in front of the church. Right now, because the church is not out of focus enough to be less distracting, it seems as if there are two subjects competing for the eye's attention.

i get a sense of what you're after, but ultimate feel this is a bit confused. the church is such a reach from the flower that it takes a bit of work to get from one to the other. maybe if shot from a different perspective, or simply eliminate the church altogether.
