I LOVE this image, it just a fresh look on something commonly shot with a macro lens. I love that you have positioned the lens where it's looking up onto the shell, giving it visual power. the contrast adds to that edge and the cracks in the shell give the eye something to rest on.

great job, wished I would have voted in this challenge you would have gotten a 10 out of me.

I agree with ErikV that a tight crop could really show off those interesting pipes. Interesting that the tones (sky, pipes, buildings) are so close.

Love the pipes and building right above them. Might consider a radical crop -- remove enough of the bottom to get of the men, and enough of the right to get rid of the storage container and most of the slanted roof.

Barn looks like it would do well as a subject for the something old challenge, but fence is unfortunate. Perhaps a close up of the interesting hole patterns on the right would be good (or a close up of the wood itself).
