Hmmmm this is a red poppy.. Thought it might of been an orange one. Have u seen the orange ones? Anyhow--agree perhaps this one could use a little pizazz.

I like the modified S curve in the wood, and being able to see the bottom of the shore line through the water in this. You did a nice job of creating a faux sunset glow with color.

I didn't vote this challenge, but dang this would have scored very well with me. Awesome mood, lovely emphasis on the dog (as this is his shot) yet nice inclusion of the human the dog is taking for a walk with him. I do like him cut off, by the way - that works in this shot for me. The panning works well, and what really makes this for me is the darkish grayish evening light and tone. Oh, and that line. Really well composed.

The near monochromatic colors add to the imagery.
