last walkby tnunComment by Blackbox: I hope you mean - last walk of the evening. If so, I like it. If not, I hate it. Maybe that guy is holding a shotgun behind his back? It's a good photo but no, I don't like it now. It's just to weird for me. That dog looks like he knows something bad is going to happen. No, I don't like it one bit. Please tell me I'm wrong... |

pixelpig: good question. I think the noise is a product of bringing up more colour/saturation, decreasing the gamma/lightness, and all the torture I put it through - for sure the USM creates strange artifacts after awhile. As well I am working with a small jpg file(albeit the crop was slight on a 4mp image) although you wouldn't think that would matter at the sizes we post on dpc.
Will try to post original. |

red poppy 01by tnunComment by Jutilda: Oh that is lovely. I like the delicateness and almost high key feel of it with the hint of grain. It's like a delicious abstract. |

red poppy 01by tnunComment by pixelpig: Sweet! Speaking artistically, the noise adds texture that is harmonious & interesting. I'm surprised to see so much noise on an over-exposed image (is it noise?) This is beautiful! |
