light mallardsby tnunComment by tanguera: Love the blurred motion (this would have been fabulous for that challenge). Also, the muted tones, but the sharp detail of the heads. Great picture, but not particularly illustrative of "lighting". |

mercantile habitatby tnunComment by krnodil: There are so many layers in this, like a closet crammed full floor to ceiling - mercantile habitat indeed! |

mercantile habitatby tnunComment by posthumous: No way would this have done well in the free study! Sorry I didn't vote on Fauna. I couldn't stomach the idea of looking at all those seagulls, pigeons, crows, deer, eagles, etc. Especially eagles. |

mercantile habitatby tnunComment by tnun: Ha. Thanks, cc. Maybe too obvious a bid for the posthumous, or maybe I shouldn't have straightened it. |

mercantile habitatby tnunComment by colorcarnival: no posthumous for this? what a bummer. What a hilarious capture. Love those wild poodley looking creatures you have in your neck of the woods. Must be hunting for his evening meal hehe. |

calmeby tnunComment by ubique: I've see thousands of gull shots, and taken a few dozen myself. They're sometimes amusing, occasionally funny, but only very rarely interesting beyond that. This one breaks the chain ... it's terrific. My new all-time favorite in the genre. It's just such a startling point-of-view which I have probably seen many times myself without ever having actually seen it at all. 9. |
