Gladiolus pritzeliiby tnunComment by MaryO: Love the little hint of sparkle in the petals, like the shimmering scales of a butterfly's wing. |

Gladiolus pritzeliiby tnunComment by Teafran: A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an interesting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge. |

landingby tnunComment by Teafran: Not quite to the same level of expertise as some of the other avian images in this challenge, the image is technically flawed in a couple of ways being overly dark as a result of a difficult lighting situation leading to rather flat and dull coloring. The blank background also enhances these two problems. A good effort that might have been improved with a little more patience waiting for a different angle and lighting. |

alfresco with houndby tnunComment by crik: I like this image, a nicely seen and captured slice of life. Also like the processing very much. |

alfresco with houndby tnunComment by posthumous: You use the harsh light to your advantage, making for a strange and interesting composition. The dog seems to be floating in eternity. |

landingby tnunComment by cynthiann: VEry very nice photo!! Just a thought... Have you tried cropping closer to just include the tail, wings, and head. The awesome background might just make the impression of clouds and his feet might look as if they are tucked back like in flight.
Just thinking out loud as I look at your photo jealously. |
