Reminds very much of my Grand-daughter. Crocadile Tears. A very real emotion (mood) for them, but not nearly as serious as it really is. Nice image, and nice idea. An image, I'm sure will be in someone's 'baby-book'. <5>

LOVE this shot! Do I ever remeber those days. I would of stuck with colour, since the detail is to be the emotion not the picture, per say. The blackening of the background and the feathering are strong, it would be great if it was just thrown into the hands of th lens. The out of focus floor seems not needed in the shot either. In my opinion ;-). 7.

I really like the layout of this as an ad. The two-tone color scheme is perfect. I'm sure the narrow depth of field, keyed on the stone is intentional, but I feel like having just a bit more of the ring in stronger focus would be helpful. I do agree that having the back of the ring softened is a good call for the feel of the ad. (7)
