The background is very distracting. A closer crop to the leaf and or shallower depth of field would have helped. Nice color

I really like what is happening with the leaf and the light in the lower left of the picture. I'd be tempted to crop quite hard down to just the leaf, to get rid of the solid, vertical line of the trunk/ branch in the right hand side, which acts like a big barrier/ guide out of the picture

well, i had tried with this cat for about 30 mins and couldnt get a still pic worth a darn. and it was a little dark out so it made it twice as hard. but what can i say.

Love this shot. If the kitty's face was in better focus, it would be even better, but it IS impossible getting cats to pose, eh? Love the DOF. That cat wants your SLR!
