The dirt is a little too "muddy" for me. I like the whole potting soil dirty look because it has more design appeal than mud. Plus the plant is a bit lack-luster. This looks like a joining of two good ideas, but I'm not sure how they are connected visually. I know what joins them but I'm not sure why you chose to join them like this.

Voting without considering the title, because I don't see how growing a new plant is recycling (although it's plenty "green"). This is a nicely-done shot.

Very sweet
