I LOVE the dirty little fingernails. I think the image would be ok, average pretty, without it. But its the child's fingernails that tell the story. I love that the dirt under the nails makes me want to know more about the mom. I LOVE the fact that she isn't a "perfect (in the traditional sense) mother," but more alive more natural, more real. I also think the wood with the nails really works. good job!

Now this one is definitely different. It looks something like a temporary shed turned into a church. You certainly getting some variety in the buildings out are capturing.

Another old church, very simple construction, so it must be pretty old. The capture works well with the vertical componet of the tower on the left and the trees on the right.

This looks like a new modern structure for the bell - plaque included for the old church. It makes for a neat contrast. There must be a story behind it.

Very nice - with the uncut grass in front it look abandoned. I do like the way you have split the image into three parts - the grass the church and the sky.
