Week 6: Maryby jasonlpriceComment by Ken: This is a wonderful portrait, and I like that half-smile she has going on there. The negative space works well, and helps isolate her. Just nitpicking, but some of the lighter strands of hair look a bit oversharpened to me. |

Winter Wonder Landby jasonlpriceComment by krnodil: This is a pretty scene, and that dirt path gives us a bit of a respite from all the white, and leads the eye to the background too. Overall, though I don't get a strong sense of subject, and that might have been what a lot of other voters felt too. |

Week 6: Maryby jasonlpriceComment by twmax: Normally by the time I do that much processing, I've got a really screwed up photo. This one is beautifully processed. I especially like the crop, and the use of negative space on the right side. You really nailed her eyes (figuratively speaking, of course!). |

Week 1: Snow Wagonby jasonlpriceComment by Melethia: A very good winter scene! I like the curves created with the wagon tires and really like the visible snowflakes falling. Creates a cozy mood despite the apparent cold of the snow. |

Week 6: Maryby jasonlpriceComment by Melethia: I don't understand anything you said about the processing (well, some, but certainly not all) but I really like what you ended up with. I love her smile/smirk! The conversion looks very good, too. |

RedLick.jpgby jasonlpriceComment by fixedintime: Interesting building - two doors, one with a light over it and the other with a railing of some type. Any explanation. It sure doesn't look like a typical church building. |

Week 1: Snow Wagonby jasonlpriceComment by Ken: That wagon just looks sad sitting there like that. I like what you've done with the tracks connecting the house and wagon. If you had a child there it would have been something else to see him/her pulling the wagon! |

Week 6: Maryby jasonlpriceComment by SherwinJames: I really like the casual feel of this shot. The composition is quite pleasing, yet very interesting. Nice, soft shadows as well. |
