The flower are too well-defined. I don't mean sharp, I mean too distinct from their background, their environment. I expect to see a painting of light, not a painting of flowers.

I'm not sure, but it almost looks slightly blurry - particularly the two black circular scales on the right. Neat idea though. Good lighting. :)
