Love the sunset hues and the leading lines of the pier. The thing that makes this composition interesting is the action of the people in the shot. It makes one pause - there is someone in the water swimming or playing. It is then we, the audience, notice that there are people on the pier who seem to be watching the swimmer/beach walker. And of course then there is us. We who are watching the watchers and the beach walker making us an active participant in the scene.

Nice colors. I don't think the foreground should have any OOF to it, but that's my opinion.
