Hanging fish bowlby deadbrainComment by tomzinho: 1) i guess it doesn't freeze in your neck of the woods, 2) that water looks like it needs to be changed, 3) fun shot, i love the yellow flowers in the background. |

Snow storm on Romeby deadbrainComment by deadbrain: Thank you for the comments.
This was my first challenge and I spot the idea only a few hours before ending terms.
I wasn't at home so I couldn't use a tripod. I shot with the natural light coming from a sunroof but in post processing I balanced the white.

Hanging fish bowlby deadbrainComment by bgmorris: That is certainly something else. I'm not sure what could inspire the need for the hanging fishbowl, but it catches my eye. |

Well I guess if there is no significant weather happening nearby you go to the miniature world of snow globes. Imaginative! I like studio shots so I give you credit for that. I suppose the idea could have worked but there is some glare on the globe.
I think for this to be more believable, the top of the globe should be cropped, as well as both sides and the bottom, so that only the scene showed.
The idea is clever, and definetly can be improved upon. Put a little more energy and thought into the details and you will have an appealing image.
Look forward to seeing more!

Hanging fish bowlby deadbrainComment by adine: This would be really surreal if all yo could see was the fish and the bowl - and the trees and leaves through the bowl. It would seem like the fish was swimming in a field! As is it is neat to see a fish bowl in a tree, but doesn't make a great composition, and you can barely see the fauna. |
