Equine Auraby JustinMComment by Dr.Confuser: Nice texture on the ground. Interesting lines. But for me personally, not a very interesting subject. |

Before the Long Winterby JustinMComment by RKT: I really liked this image. I'm you're lonely 10. At first glance I found it a pleasing abstract...3 distinct layers from top to bottom. I also enjoyed the subtle movement of the water against the static feel of the landscape above...no fluffy water...fluffy water annoys me for the most part.
This is a scene often passed by, but there is much see, feel and hear if we let ourselves get lost in it and experience the moment for what it is. It becomes even more pleasing the more it is looked at.
A photograph is a photograph. It is the subject. The visually stunted yearn for a "focal point" and do not understand the true nature of what a photograph is, and what it can be. That may sound like a harsh thing to say, but it's true. Too many lazy eyes looking for instant gratification. It is not your fault, it is theirs. Not once in my many years in school did I hear the words, "your photograph must have a focal point."...not once. There is nothing wrong with having a focal point, but it isn't a must.
Anyway, I enjoyed this...glad you entered it. |
