I like the balance between the tree and the post, but the frame seems loose above the tree. You cut the top off the post anyway, so a tighter frame on the tree might have worked better.6.

I like your idea here, I am just not completely blown away. There is so much light on the hands I would like to see it balanced with more light on the face. Another cool thing you could try would be to have a black sheet on the table since his shirt blends into the background so much to give the illusion that it is just hands and a face looking in a magnifying glass in space. haha I dunno just brainstorming.

I like the concept, but the different color balances between the gloves and skintone take away a bit, perhaps black and white or toned would have helped.
