"Novus Vita" (new life)by JustinMComment by travis_cooper: I think I like this shot mostly for its simplicity, your background has nothing to it, but it really adds to the mood of the shot. It seems like the background is getting darker as you go up, but the sprout is getting lighter, I thought that was interesting. This has potential for a ribbon. |

I like the composition here, but there is obviously an issue with the picture being 'burnt out' just below his chin. Hard to tell how recoverable it is in post processing, but without that issue thsi would have been even better. |
