I like how the beautiful yellow of the flowers and the beautiful green of the leaves blend together to create something ugly, and somehow infect the sky. This theme of "infection" is highlighted by the very fine stippling and crosshatch of the texture. I imagine art being drawn with viruses.

Wow, thank you for all the high votes. This is maybe the fist time I work up to a ribbon with a higher score than the night before. It was at 7.4 last night. I took this photo at the shore of a lake where there were dozens of these little swallows swooping and diving right above the ground. Every so often they would land and find little food bits on the ground, which is when I could focus on them and wait for them to fly.
