Can't put my finger on what to improve but, this one just doesn't do anything for me. I like the title. the composition looks good The lighting seems to be okay. I honestly don't have any suggestions for improvement except maybe a more interesting subject? sorry. 5

Oh heck, this is tough to score! You're totally in the spirit of the Wally books, yet totally ignoring the challenge description (the bit about the "otherwise personless photo"!) I'll have to think about this one a bit longer.
That issue aside, I don't think you should have bothered about partially desaturating the crowd - the red/white clothes would have been just fine.

This is great. When I think of Where's Waldo, I don't see him hidden in a "person-less" image as such (even though that's what this challenge called for), I picture this sort of set up. I hope you aren't being hit too hard by dnmc'ers. Good luck!

Ooh, you might get slammed so bad having a lot of people in the shot, but it's more in keeping with the real Waldo illustrations, and great idea to have "Waldo" *look* like Waldo! Good job!

I'm another fan of this one and really expected to see it very near the top. Perfectly composed, great texture and light, and a lovely sense of play and mystery.
