The blue on blue background is the perfect offset for the leaves, but it's the apparent person at the base of the tree that makes this shot for me (even if it's not one, I'm going to pretend it is).

Sorry you are feeling challenge burnout, I guess that fighting through it is a positive step to take

I always maintain that the bottom line is not how a picture scores but how you feel about it and that you enjoyed taking it, the rest is a mere bagatelle

Michelle, I really like everything about this image: the composition, the light, the focus, the subtle complementary background, and the colors. This is the sort of picture I could hang on my wall and never never get tired of seeing.

Nice idea. The person seems to be a secondary subject since he is in the background. I think this photo would be stronger if there was a more prominent primary subject, such as, an apple very close up in the foreground, with the person still in the background.
