I see them, and they are spooooky. I like the b/w conversion for it. The leaning tree in the BG is a bit distracting for me, seems to take some of the focus from the wall.

Too bad on the score, this is a quite original photo for the challenge. I think any time you get conflicting opinions in a challenge (good comp/bad comp) that means you are doing something right. Interest...it has more appeal than most macros you see out there. This is a photo for a different type of audience as far as scoring but the type of photo everyone should look at because there is more depth to it than most.

I think this is an excellent shot. the DOF, the sharpness, the subject. It's one of those quandaries as to why this didn't score better.
