I love so much about this - the juxtaposition of the dead flower and the buds, the snow and the green, past and future ... and that little bit of snow precariously perched on the edge of the flower that will bring an imminent change in the scene, while the plant more slowly experiences its changes. Fabulous take on the challenge, IMO, and my favorite entry.

foreground image just a bit too over-sharp for my taste; overall the image is lovely with great use of compsition and boke. COlors compiment the decaying plant bud very well.
