Lost in a Momentby colorcarnivalComment by citymars: Great shot, Michelle, with fine exposure and clarity. At first I thought I'd prefer more context (not so tight a crop), but I like how it is a bit of a puzzle. First the realization that the window is a train window, followed by wondering where he is and what he is looking at. |

Lost in a Momentby colorcarnivalComment by JuliBoc: Wonderful portrait. I love the lighting, contrast, and color. And you captured a great natural expression. He looks worried about something, almost as though he is about to leave someone important behind. |

Lost in a Momentby colorcarnivalComment by skewsme: Fantastic light. This photo offers a lot - I look at it and I'm a little kid on a train, the sun warming my face through the window. But I'm also the grown-up in the seat nearby, watching and wondering what out there has him so rapt. Really beautiful, and the crop sets his face off nicely. |

The Headless Crawly Sand Monsterby colorcarnivalComment by skewsme: Love the title! The motion is cool too. Your PP is totally legal. It's easy to selectively desaturate in basic - especially if your original has colors that cooperate! It's because you did such a good job on the PP that people didn't believe it. Keep shocking 'em! |

Hopalong Jackby colorcarnivalComment by violinist123: I think the lighting is good except for the blown out area of his shirt. Really unless you have complete control over the lighting (or incredible luck), it's very difficult to make a shot that doesn't require some sort of manipulation in post. |
