Macro shots of flowers seem to do well here on DPC. This should be no exception. I meets the challenge well. There are some minor DOF issues, but it shouldn't hurt the overall score much. Its a good photo and easily meets the challenge. Hopefully, it will score in the top 33%.

Now this is interesting. Vitamin C is derived from Rose Hips and not from the petals of a standard rose. But you made me question myself adn look it up for confirmation. So well done on that aspect. Now back to the photo, sharp and clean, gorgeous tones that accent the yellows. nicely sharpened. well done on all aspects

Hahahaha! Sorry...the shallow DOF is just too good for the Brown...;-P You'll have to do far worse than this one to snatch the brown from my greedy fingers! His expression is just priceless!
