Overexposed in the center, and the light switch detracts from shot. I like your concept, and this could have been more successful if you'd just used the hand and the lower green balloon in your composition. That part of the shot is pretty interesting and has good highlights/shadows.

Well - if the challenge had finished the way I scored it, you'd have a nice shiny new virtual ribbon to display. :-) I placed this shot at the top of my list. Really a lovely photo. I bet there's some stock photo life in this one as well. I don't say that in a negative way...I mean stock photo in a high art venue (not your avg magazine ad clip kinda thing). Anyway, just wanted to say congrats on a nice score and a wonderful image.

I like the concept of the spotlight illuminating the ballons creating a focal point. I would like to see more balloons filling the frame and eliminating the background. A diffuser is necessary for the light. The light is washing out the color of the balloons. Also the hand is not necessary.

I wonder how this may have looked with only the strings moving, as if it's being played. This is a good and original idea you had.
