B&W presentation was a wise choice to call attention the action of what is going on in the scene. I feel color would distract from the action of the silently communicating cats. Even though I cannot see the face of the cat behind the window, I can see that they both are making eye contact from the look of the cat on the outside. One cat looks out upon the cat that is outside luxuriating in being free and outside. The cat behind the window seems to be pining away or maybe jealous of the cat on the outside; he desires to be out and about. |
