I seem to remember reading that "Big Ben" actually refers to the largest bell in the clock tower, not to the clock itself, though yours is the common usage.

Very nice - Could have been a much stronger image in my mind with 2 things changed.
1. Background would have been better if it was darker - That way the single stem would have stood out more - As it is it blends into one of the white items in the background.
2. The twig on the left is just a little too distracting and sharp enough to take away focus from the very sharp one. Nice picture.

Beautiful shot for straight from the camera. It seems a little full for Minimalism, but it meets the challenge description. Lovely lighting, contrast, and composition.
