Hi Ursula, yes this is pretty much a self portrait of my son Brandon and I, my wife took the shot over the holidays, I had thought about entering it in the B&W challenge but there was a few things in the background that had to be removed and Im sure it would have been DQ'd for the cloning.

Fall-in Emerald Lakeby PhotoDaveComment by PhotoDave: I would say 90% of my photos are taken with out a tripod as I rarely have the time to set it up for alot of the shots Ive taken...
This one was shot freehand as well, I prob could have used a little more USM but at the time liked it the way it was.

Fall-in Emerald Lakeby PhotoDaveComment by Brielle: This is one of my faves in your portfolio. I absolutely love the colors. Not sure if you used a tripod or not, but using just a touch higher fstop and a tripod would crispen up all the pine needles. |
