Wow...the metal grate freaks my eyes out! Very cool shot, just a little hard to look at...maybe it's my astigmatism! :)

nice shot, got just a bit of propeller movement to add action but still captured them both nice and sharp. Well done.

Thanks for the vote :) the green line was an integral part of the scene where there are 2 guys on the ground holding poles with that green ribbon hanging there between them and the plane had to fly upside down to cut the ribbon which was not very high off the ground as you can see.

I like the texture in this photo. And the red in the wood looks like blood.. even more Poe-like. Nice shot.

I am looking to buy a new Digital Camera and wanted to get your professioanl opinion of either the Nikon D200 or the Canon EOS 5D.
I know that the processor is the most important, but what is the Advantage and or disadvantage of either of these Models. What I know is the Canon does have 12.8 MegaPixel and is Full Frame and is suppose to have a better Chip, but I've seen some really nice Colorful Macro Shots with the Nikon D200.

Ultimately, my goal is to incorporate My digital Photos with Digitally Designed Art and enlarge on a LightJet (Requires 150dpi at final size for optimal printing - apparent 4,000dpi)at sizes up to 4'x8'.

Any suggestions on these Cameras or others you might recommed with any info on lenses as well?

Thanks,

Trace

I really love the bird, but with the busy aspect of the old gnarled tree, he just sort of blends in. I wonder if a black and white with some dodge and burn would help. The red on the tree really is distracting. Love the texture and detail of the bird though.
