New Growthby sulamkComment by titotapado: The thorns don't give it a very friendly appearance. Are you sure you took this picture during the right time frame? I thought you cut roses during late winter... |

New Growthby sulamkComment by dphillips: I really thought this was a very interesting photo. Very imaginative and colors in background perfect. Foreground very clear in detail. It deserves my 10 vote. |

New Growthby sulamkComment by aripps: background is distracting. You can hold a piece of cloth, a solid color behind it and then take picture. |

New Growthby sulamkComment by focus: You have a very interesting subject to start with. If I may suggest, a black background may have greatly enhanced this photo. Then some brightening and sharpening. If your camera is capable of exposure compensation, you might shot this in 1/3 intervals. |

New Growthby sulamkComment by jmsetzler: This is an interesting topic for the 'something new' concept... The lighting seems to be a little flat, and I believe that is keeping this photo from having a nice punch :) - jmsetzler |

Something Oldby sulamkComment by Swashbuckler: This is a wonderful image! I don't understand the cropping at the bottom, the metals are partly missing, plus the right edge of the shot has me asking why. Are the metals themselves a bit worn, I just can't see that as being a focus issue. Overall, nice job! 8 Swash |
