Time of day and deep shadows have caused a lot of lost detail here, as well as the harshness of the ground cover. The tusks certainly jump off the page though.

This shot has a lot of potential, but there are a few problems that keep my vote lower than it could've been. The lighting is harsh, so you lose a lot of detail on the boar's face. The dead center composition can work well in a closeup, but here it doesn't really grab me. And the animal is so close in color to the dirt that my eye yearns for more contrast.
