A common robin - common in this part of the world, at least - on a common metal stake. And such a welcome sight in the early spring. The detail is perfectly lovely - look at the way those feathers lie - as is the background blur that sets him off. One of my top two. 10 Voted earlier; back to comment.

Nice Shot, personaly I think you overdid the guassian blurr, I see too many sharp edges on the bird... I tend to do this very thing, something that a DPCer told me that really HELPS if your gonna use this much blurr is grab the smudge tool (very small) and 50 or lower, and go around the sharpish looking edges on the bird so help soften and set him in the photo..
