i really like the diagonal lines. the yellow car in the foreground is a distraction to the lines. maybe you could've cropped a little tighter on the bottom and then cloned out the remaining part of it? also, most of the colors look a little washed out. i just quickly dropped your image into photoshop and "darken highlights" by 40% made the image look a lot more vivid...

Bump the contrast and bring up the color saturation and you have something here. As is, seems a little flat. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.
