There is a softness to this that really adds to the shot. It is not "soft" as in almost out of focus, but it still feels that way. very nice.

Hi Sara,

Great shot. I recently replaced an old Canon 70-300 (non IS) to the 100-400 f4 and am now finding myself really missing the 70-100mm focal lengths. Did yours replace a similar lens? (looks like it from your profile) - if so, how are you handling the missing lengths? (do you take out the old lens?)
