Suprise Encounterby SaraRComment by Purple_Girl: I love how the focus seems to be on those lovely spots on his body, the light is hitting him really nicely. I like the overhanging tree, it brings another point of interest to the shot but doesn't take away from the main subject. |

Aloneby SaraRComment by Melethia: Cool! Is it naturally desaturated by virtue of the light? |

The Underclassby SaraRComment by Melethia: I really like the composition of this, and the energy of the guy on the right. One wonders what he's expressing, what he's planning to do if anything. Very nice exposure and contrast - i Like the blown out bit at the end of the tunnel. |

Blossomby SaraRComment by Melethia: Light was lovely for this and you've achieved the trademarked Yanko brown tones. |

Autumn Leavesby SaraRComment by Melethia: I like the warmth and simplicity of this. A lovely autumn day - nothing more complicated than that. |

Gull over Whitbyby SaraRComment by Melethia: Excellent stop-motion and great timing to put him against the hillside, above and separate from the houses. I agree with Fiona - while the color is very nice here, it may work in B&W as well. |

The Underclassby SaraRComment by rlewis: As with the others, you have done a fine job with this image. Changes? Maybe if the closer men weren't quite as centered and perhaps if you had been standing a little further left (or closer to the men) so the overhead lights would have created an angle through the image to draw you in.
The comments are suggestions that might have improved it, this is a nice image. |

Intensityby SaraRComment by rlewis: Very nice, I have yet to try one of these and look forward to the day that I can. I really like your work.
To me the one thing this image needs is for the bird to be looking more toward the lens. |

The Outingby SaraRComment by rlewis: Very nice affect, I like the feel and your perspective for the image, the clouds add.
Two thoughts....the image seems "unbalanced" with the rocks running dead center in the image. I would consider cropping part of the bottom of the image. The other is that it is obvious that the ladies are not standing still so you lose the affect of a coversation on the rocks. Instead there is a "lack of permanence" to the image. |
