creative and lovely.I think I would have tried to get the verticals lined up to parallel the frame of the picture (you can rotate the image...but not sure if allowed in Basic)...Then I would have cropped in tighter. I love the square format, and you could keep it square with a tighter crop. But still a more poetic interpretation of the challenge.

Good idea. Interesting to look at. Maybe cool off the color with a photo filter and bump up the contrast a little.
