Woodyby nutzitoComment by MaryO: I see his Red Belly! Marvelous detail. I get these guys occasionally at my birdfeeders but have always thought they were misnamed, given the bright orange caps which distinguish them from other woodpeckers. But apparently they do have red bellies! I feel somewhat enlightened ;-) And I totally envy you the chance to play with such a lens!! |

Falconryby nutzitoComment by odriew: This does not look like an outtake at all... ;P It's still a great shot regardless. 7 |

Falconryby nutzitoComment by citymars: Of course this is from Alfredo, having seen and admired the ribbon-winning version in another challenge. I love the exotic location and subjects, however, I think this version suffers from the lighting, which seems too artificial for the setting, and also from the model's expression, which the close-up reveals is just a bit too posed. However, overall this is still more interesting than many other more technically perfect entries, so I can't fault it too much. :-) |

Falconryby nutzitoComment by Ja-9: ok. you used one similar in another challenge this month and my comment was that I didn't care so much for the flash flair...but on this one...it really works...well done |
