Great picture - strong on action. Well done. I am giving it a 10 based on the photography. However, I can't pass on this photo without saying that I strongly urge you to emphasize with the animal in this scene and perhaps read, even just a little bit, about the scientific evidence that animals have the same range of emotions as humans. Cruelty for entertainment is not a human right.

As a female who likes animals often better than people and who wasn't raised where this is an honored sport, I find this both terribly sad and impressive at the same time. The bull's face - it's eyes - is so terribly pained. Yet the grace and intensity of the bullfighter is quite exquisite.

This is a very dramatic photo. Well captured. Well composed. Well edited. The expression on the matador's face is perfectly in character. I fear it will generate a lot of negative reaction due to the subject. While in Madrid, I learned to appreciate bullfighting, but it is definitely an acquired taste, one few voters will share. Hopefully I'm wrong in this.
